Learning outcomes

The course of Quality Theory and Practice concerns many technical subjects with reference to the remarkable changes produced by quality culture propagation in production, organization, management and environment fields. The links among quality, reliability, technical standardization and conformity certification of industrial products are proposed in the first part of the course. The second part includes subjects related to environmental sustainability, environmental management and environmental labels of products. Voluntary standard ISO 9000:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and EMAS Community Regulation are also supplied.

Assessment methods and criteria

Teaching: classroom lessons.
Oral exam. Students could ask for a written test at the end of the course.
