Lesson timetable

Learning outcomes

The course aims, on the one hand, at outlining, the different process of development which the Italian regions underwent between the Unification of the country and the economic crisis of the 1930’s; on the other hand, at examining the nature and limits of the so-called “economic dualism” in the thought of various political leaders and a few economists who lived in those decades.

Syllabus

Frontal lessons. These lessons aim at discussing the main issues related to the programme.

Assessment methods and criteria

The final exam will be an interview about the issues discussed in the required readings.
