BASIC STATISTICS (10 CFU)

Development objectives

The course objective is to provide a quantitative analysis methodology based upon observation, findings and elaboration of collective phenomena. In particular the problematics of analyzing data will be discussed, as well as the design and creation of surveys and experiments in diverse applicable sectors for descriptive, interpretational and decision-making ends.

Course layout:
Classroom lessons: 56 hours / practical exercises 30 hours

Exam procedure:
Written exam with a follow-on integrated oral exam if requested by either the student or the faculty
