Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to provide the students with the basic statistical tools for the analysis of the macro-economic system. The course is mainly practice, so that theoretical methods will be always applied to real cases using online datasets. The following topics will be then explored during the course: index numbers, classical and modern approach to the analysis of time series. Freshening up the basic notions of inferential statistics before attending the present course is highly recommended.
