The module aims to provide the tools to understand the functioning of public enterprise with particular attention to management issues and the specificities that distinguish it.
Particular attention will be paid to the processes of change taking place into the public administration and the effects that they produce in organizational culture, human resources management and customer relationship management.
A further objective of the course is to equip students with the necessary skills to be able to assess for themselves the multiple realities of the public Sector and the future of the public business .
The module involves a range of teaching strategies including lectures, case studies and guest lectures. Additional material will be in the form of web-based reading and research, selected texts, journal articles and contemporary magazine and press articles. Independent research and study will be encouraged throughout to complement group work activities.

1 hour written examination made up of open questions to test basic knowledge. If passed, oral examination to test critical analysis skills will take place.
